Spring hairstyles we love

With a fresh season right around the corner we’re feeling inspired to breathe new life into our hair. Be it a trip to the salon for a haircut, a softer, spring-inspired hue or a new styling technique to master through the following months, we’ve rounded up some fresh takes on gorgeous hair for spring.

Pink blossom

A hint of pink is appropriate for spring with our attentions lurking to the gorgeous spring blossom – so where better to take inspiration from? Pink hues have been popular for the past few seasons now in hair trends so for this spring keep pale, pastel shades in mind instead of bold and bright statement hair. You want your hair to look like it’s been bathed in rose petals, not dipped into a fluorescent highlighter pen.

Fishtail braids

Braids are reminiscent of summer and long days out at the beach, so as we’re inching ever closer to summer through spring it’s fun to start to play with hair. To take a summer braid to a spring braid you need a little more uniformity to your hair. Summertime is for relaxed waves and undone styles, so spring hair can be a little neater and hold its style a little better. Fishtail braids have greater detail to them but still feel and look relaxed for easy, gorgeous hair.

Baby waves

We call these types of curls baby waves because they’re the very first signs of texture in your hair where it’s not quite yet holding a defined curl but there’s definitely some sort of movement in the hair. It’s very soft and romantic and perfect for spring.

Angel hair

This style works on all hair types so if you have fine hair don’t think you can’t wear your hair in this style. Pull your hair into two loose braids and cross them over to the front section of your head to frame your face. Secure down with bobby pins then gently pull and play with the texture of your hair to let a few pieces fall loosely to give a soft finish to your hair.

The modern beehive

In homage of the classic sixties style this is a playful take on the beehive with a soft ‘fluffy’ finish to the hair but keeping that all-important volume intact.
