Bananas are most well-known for their high potassium contents, but they contain vitamin A, vitamin B, magnesium and zinc. Bananas have healing and energy-boosting properties, which help to repair damaged hair and stimulate the scalp.
Almond milk is naturally made from almonds and water. Almonds are a natural source of Biotin and are rich in magnesium, both of which have been found to give thicker and healthier hair. Organic peanut butter is usually packed with protein and fibre –and whilst it isn’t renowned for improving hair health –it might just sweeten up the kale.
Simply pop 1 cup of almond milk, 1 banana, 4 kale leaves and a spoon of organic peanut butter in a food processor and blend until smooth enough to drink.
